Latest plaid I made

a long weekend .. so I had so time to make a new one.


The colors are Beige, Brown and Taupe:

I have now a little stock... But still making some more.

Need to have a nice stock to sale a max in Houten.

How to make a granny square.....

I will try to explain how to make a granny square and what you can make with it... (need some at least to have a scarf.. till a big plaid).

this is the begining!
 I make most of the time 4 rows and stard a new one

but some times I just change the color of the coton/acryl (between 20 and 25€ selling price)

Granny square plaid made in coton - Mum's Plaid

This is the amazing plaid I made for my mum... she bought the coton and so also choose the colors.

In the begining I was septic but it looks good....


All in coton... so it's heavy but the colors are great.
All handmade.

This will be her Christmas gift!

440 squares and if I wanted to sell it  the price would be around 250€ (this must be 300$)... at least!

Granny square plaids

Everything started a few years ago...



I wanted a plaid but couldn't find one in the colours I liked.
So I started to look what I could easily make my self.




I love the patchwork ones but this needed to be patient and to sit down at the stitching table.


So I opted for the crochet.

Since then, my mum has a great one, my sister-in-law has one, her daughter has a cute one and even the cat, Calina has one...

A few weeks ago even some friends asked me to make one for them.
So I decided to share them with you.


this is the one I starde for myself: in acrylic - rainbow colors. it's not finished yet.... :

And a few weeks ago, friends ask me to go with them to a fair and try to sell some of what I made.


So why not... It could be fun.




But I thought it would also the moment to start the blog of my plaids.... ;)
